COMMUNITY CIDER

2024 DONATIONS: 02/09 until 07/10. NOW CLOSED.

CIDER READY EARLY-2025

Now in its sixth vintage year, the annual Wasted Degrees Perthshire cider has become a much loved local community collaboration. Throughout harvest season, the brewery becomes a hub for collecting surplus apples & pears.

In 2019 we realised that our local area had a wealth of apple trees… but a great deal of the fruit was going to waste.

We put those apples (and also pears) to use, creating an ultra-local cider and feeding local livestock with the remaining pulp.

Together, we’ve saved 14 tonnes of apples so far!

IN RETURN FOR EVERY 10KG OF APPLES AND/OR PEARS DONATED, RECEIVE A CAN OF OUR BEER THERE & THEN, OR CIDER WHEN IT’S READY - THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
