Guess what? My first article has been published on the comedy website, Cracked.com! Go check it out… NOW! 5 Worst Deaths Written for Great Characters (And Why)

Well, it was officially announced today that season 8 will be the final season of 24. As regular readers of the site know, we are huge fans of 24 here at WD and, despite our criticism of this season, we will miss it.

To make this week even worse, earlier this week, Zach Braff posted on his Facebook page that Scrubs has also been canceled. Two great TV shows, both of which premiered in 2001, were canceled this week.

Let us observe a moment of silence for these fallen shows…

After tinkering around for a while, we have set up some new features for Wasted Degrees to give it a more social atmosphere. Included in a twitter-like activity page, where you can share what you’re doing with the other users of the site, forums where users can talk about the site, our liveblogs or really about anything. While we haven’t posted the forum rules yet, use some common sense. The internet isn’t a new thing, neither are message boards, you should know by now what is and isn’t acceptable. We’ve also set up extended profiles, and groups for users to set up and join as well as the ability to friend other users, and send people private messages.

Please let us know if you intend to use these features or not. There isn’t much point in having the activity page if nobody is going to use it.
